[Clase 103 (ii)] [See also Group X] Two vehicle door windows of the kind which are pivoted on vertical axes are movable by irreversible regulator mechanism so as to be always parallel, and may be opened a further distance against springs for hand signalling or the like. The pivots 3, 4 of the windows are connected to drums 8 held by springs 16 against actuating arms 14 on spindles 9. The spindles 9 are rotatable by arms 10 and adjustable connecting levers 11 from hand-operated worm gear 18, 19, or other mechanism. The spindles 9 are mounted in brackets 13 screwed to the body and the arms 14 act on interior stops 15 on the drums. The windows may be secured in closed position by a hand-operated sliding rod 26 having keyhole-slotted extensions 28 embracing squared parts of the bosses of the drums 8. The levers 11 are connected to the spindle of the worm wheel by a pivot 24 and lever 23. The meeting edge of one panel has a rubber tongue to engage the frame of the adjacent panel when closed.
