527,418. Fuel injection devices. SCHURTER, W. April 11, 1939, No. 11021. Convention date, April 11, 1938. [Class 7 (iii)] In a fuel-injector in which fuel fed by a pump accumulates in a chamber 5 surrounding an injection valve 9 which is kept closed by the fuel pressure acting on the upper end of the valve stem until the fuel pressure is reduced, the loading spring 8 of the valve is disposed in the chamber 5. As the valve opens, the valve stem closes the upper end of a throttling passage 7 disposed between the chamber 5 and the chamber above the upper end of the valve stem.
