Abstract
514,409. Alloys. VEREINIGTE LEICHTMETALL-WERKE GES. May 4, 1938, No. 13368. Convention date, May 10, 1937. [Class 82 (i) ] Aluminium alloys, particularly for bearings contain 0.5-10 per cent. of magnesium and zinc in proportions between 0.16: 1 and 0.2: 1, and a total of 3.2-10 per cent. of one or more of the metals chromium, manganese, and cobalt, with or without nickel, or 6-10 per cent. of nickel, with or without up to 0.5 per cent. of titanium ; or up to 2 per cent. of copper may also be present, in which case the total of the metals chromium, manganese, and cobalt, with or without nickel may be 2-10 per cent. Up to 0.5 per cent. each of iron and silicon may be present as impurities.
