Abstract

A zinc alloy contains from 3 to less than 8 per cent of aluminium, 0,1-1,8 per cent of copper, and 0,1-0,7 per cent of two or more of the metals nickel, iron, chromium, cobalt, manganese and vanadium, and may be made by adding to molten aluminium the elements other than zinc in the form of aluminium alloys, the zinc being finally added solid but preheated.
