[Class 123 (ii)] A boiler comprise: parallel sinuous tubes 3a lining the wall of a combustion chamber and connected to ar inlet header 1 which is shorter than the length of the chamber The tubes may open into a separating drum 7, from which water is forced into the header 1 by a pump. The straight parts of the tubes may be arranged vertically instead of horizontally, and the elements further from the grate may have a greater number of bends than those near to the grate.
