473,174. Fuel injectors. SOC. ANON. A. SAURER. Jan. 30, 1937, No. 2799. Convention date, .Feb. 22, 1936. [Class 7 (iii)] . In an injector with a fluid-operated valve having helical grooves 14 for imparting a whirling motion tothe fuel, the wall of the discharge opening 17 is rounded and the apex of the cone 19 coincides with that of the conical valve seating 8, the cone 19, at the end facing the cylinder space terminating in a sharp edge 20 from which the fuel is discharged as a conical sheet.
