Abstract
447,237. Fuel injectors. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militarstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. Oct. 11, 1935, No. 28070. Convention date, Oct. 11, 1934. [Class 7 (iii)] To secure a fuel injector in the engine cylinder, a resilient ring k is inserted in an annular groove in the shank d of the nozzle body and lies between the shank and a threaded sleeve or cap-nut h which is screwed into a nipple n secured in the cylinder. A sealing-ring i is inserted between the cap nut and the ring k, which may consist of steel wire. In a modified form, the cross-section of the ring is rectangular and the threaded sleeve is screwed directly into the wall of the cylinder.
