Abstract

Lubricating-compositions especially for use under high pressures consist of a lubricating oil to which is added a minor amount of a halogenated non - volatile petroleum product. Chlorinated lubricating oil, kerosene or paraffin wax, preferably containing 55 per cent or more of chlorine, and boiling above 170 DEG C. are used. Specification 431,434 is referred to.
