Abstract
428,261. Cooling cylinders and exhaust pipes; pumps. CAPRONI, G., 15, Lungotevere Arnaldo da Brescia, Rome. Aug. 9, 1934, No. 23029. Convention date, March 6. [Class 7 (ii)] Steam, generated in cylinder jackets 3, is superheated in a jacket 5 round the exhaust pipe and utilized to drive a turbine 7 coupled to a charging compressor 11. The cylinders are thus charged with air or combustible mixture formed in a carburetter 13 ; the carburetter may be on the suction side of the compressor 11.
