Convention date, Dec. 21, 1933. [Class 7 (ii)] In engines supplied with air by exhaustdriven turbo-blowers, these are mounted on the transmission gear-box with their axes transverse to the main shaft axis ; the length of the power unit is thus reduced. As shown, two blowers i and two turbines k are mounted on the gear-box through which the engine drives a dynamo c, the turbines being respectively supplied from separate lines of cylinders by pipes n, m.
