437,078. Pumps. BUCHI, A., 20, Salstrasse, Winterthur, Switzerland. Jan. 21, 1935, No. 2001. Convention date, Jan. 24, 1934. [Class 7 (ii)] Exhaust-driven compressors 12 for multiplerow engines are mounted, one for each row, at the end face of the engine, the exhaust manifolds 21 running side by side above the cylinders and the air-delivery manifolds 19 along the outer sides of the rows below the valve-operating mechanism. The air-delivery manifolds are cross-connected to each other and the exhaustmanifolds enclosed within a casing filled with heat-insulating material.
