567,825. Pistons. SULZER FRERES SOC. ANON. Oct. 14, 1943, No. 16861. Convention date, Oct. 24, 1942. [Class 122 (i)] A piston for two-stroke internal-combustion engines is provided with a gas storage space 7 between the packing 4 and scraper rings 6 in that portion of the piston which lies always beyond the range of the inlet and exhaust ports, whereby leakage of lubricant from the crank chamber is prevented. The space 7 may be divided into two parts disposed between the thrust faces.
