442,058. Two-stroke radial-cylinder engines. HUMBOLDT - DEUTZMOTOREN AKT.-GES., 149, Deutz-Mulheimerstrasse, Cologne, Germany. April 1, 1935, No. 10152. Convention date, March 31, 1934. [Class 7 (ii)] In a two-stroke radialcylinder engine counterweights p are secured to the crank webs o and rotate in annular chambers s located between the walls of the crankcase a and the ends of the cylinders b which project into the crank case or the pistons t when in their outer dead centre positions. The counterweights p are provided with projections which enter recesses r in the webs o and the parts of the crank case carrying the bearings k are located close to the crank webs.
