[Class 7 (ii)] In a two-stroke radialcylinder engine counterweights p are secured to the crank webs o and rotate in annular chambers s located between the walls of the crankcase a and the ends of the cylinders b which project into the crank case or the pistons t when in their outer dead centre positions. The counterweights p are provided with projections which enter recesses r in the webs o and the parts of the crank case carrying the bearings k are located close to the crank webs.
