[Class 122 (i)] [See also Group XXVII] A piston 1 of a twostroke internal-combustion engine is cooled by providing ports 7 through which air passes when the ports register with inlet and exhaust ports 4, 3 or additional ports 6, 5, an internal wall 8 closing the interior of the piston to the crank-case.
