425,407. Valve amplifying circuits. TELEFUNKEN GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEGRAPHIE, 12, Hallesches Ufer, Berlin. Aug. 31, 1933, No. 24214. Convention date, Aug. 31, 1932. [Class 40 (v)] Relates to circuit arrangements for a screengrid valve having a perforated anode and one or more additional electrodes behind the anode at steady but preferably adjustable potentials relatively to the cathode as described in Specifications 423,167 and 424,792, for the purpose of eliminating anode retroaction due to the internal resistance of the valve by means of a negative resistance effect. Where there is a single additional electrode it is positively biassed. Where there are two, that nearer the anode may be given an adjustable negative bias or may be connected internally to the cathode while the other may be connected internally to the screening grid. Specification 418,132 also is referred to.
