[Class 135] [See also Group XI] In a gas burner for furnaces in which compressed-air, supplied through an inlet k in an outer cylinder b to a nozzle u carried by an inner cylinder a, draws gas through an inlet n and a chamber t into a mixing - chamber w, the air and gas inlets are regulated simultaneously by the ports p, q on rotating the inner cylinder, the gas inlet being regulated independently of the air inlet by axially adjusting the inner cylinder. The latter is mounted rotatably in a plate c, supported by springs d from a flange e on the cylinder b and adjustable by means of wing- nuts g on guide bolts f.
