551,568. Gas burners. LOWE, J. S. Dec. 9, 1941, No. 15884. [Class 75 (i)] [Also in Group XII] A low pressure gas burner for furnaces &c. comprises a central air tube a around which is an annular gas passage b from which air and gas issue against a baffle c and are deflected against the dish-shaped wall of a combustion chamber d having corrugations in the direction of travel of flame as it passes along the wall. The air tube projects slightly beyond the outlet of the gas passage. The baffle c is carried by a spindle e having a helical vane f and is adjusted by a knob g.
