Class 64(1) [Also, in Group XI] Pressure air controlled by a cock 88 is: fed to the annulus between an outer pipe 74 and an inner pipe 78 surrounding the whole or a part only of the flame or flames of a pressure gas burner 77 (see Group XI). The air may be fed to the rear end of the pipe 74 as shown or to its forward end. The outlet of the inner pipe 78 may be inside the outer pipe 74 so that the com-- bustion gases mix with the air being heated; or the outlet of the inner pipe may be outside the outer pipe. The inner and outer pipes may be arranged in convolutions and may be provided with ribs. The inner pipe may be omitted.
