1419227 Pilot burners; oil burners COMBUSTION ENG Inc 24 June 1974 [25 June 1973] 27975/74 Headings F4F and F4T An air diffuser 18 for a burner is located upstream of an oil discharger nozzle 22 and has a number of radial blades which screen the outlets 28 of a number of gas pilot burners from the radiant heat generated by the oil burner. Gas is also supplied, from a ring header 24, to a number of outlets 25. The pilot burners also help to stabilize the main flames.
