Abstract

1420047 Burners ADAPTOGAS Ltd 23 Aug 1974 [30 Aug 1973] 40804/73 Heading F4T The burner head 13 of a torch or blow lamp has bleed holes 14, 16 to supply two concentric rings 20, 21 of flame retention burners and receives a mixture of air and gas from a venturi 9. A plug valve 5 connects the venturi to air and gas pipes 1, 2 and provides a constant supply to a pilot light 22. A restrictor 9b permits adjustment of the air flow while a groove 25 connects any leakage of air or gas along the plug valve to atmosphere.
