Abstract

201,382. Radiation, Ltd., Brayshaw, S. N., and Brayshaw, E. R. July 12, 1922. Atmospheric gas burners.- A gas burner particularly for bakers' ovens comprises a venturi member A to which two concentric tubes B, C are attached, the inner tube B being provided with a series of holes b along one side and the outer tube with longitudinal burner outlet slots c diametrically disposed relatively to the holes b. The inner tube B may be screwed into the venturi-member and the outer tube, C attached by means of flanges a, a and bolts. Distance pieces, preferably screws or studs E, are arranged spirally round the tube B. A nipple f<1> carried by a swivelling gas pipe F is held in position opposite the venturi inlet by studs or projections f<2> engaging notches a<1>, in a flange on the venturi member. In a modification, as shown in Fig. 7, a nipple f<1> is carried by studs a<3> which secure together similarly shaped flanges. B<1>, a of the venturi member A and the tube C, and a screwed sleeve G normally held in position by a spring g<1> is provided for regulating the air supply.
