612,778. Vapour burners. HEYNDERICKX, F. M. J., and SELIFFET, F. June 3, 1946, Nos. 16813 and 16814. Convention dates, Oct. 19, 1945 and April 30, 1946. [Class 75 (i)] A liquid-fuel burner apparatus comprises a U- shaped vaporizing tube 3 connected to a lower U- shaped burner tube 1 formed with apertures 2 for the emission of flames playing directly on the tube 3. The tube 3 is fed by gravity from a tank 8 provided with a filter 7 and level indicator 9. The valve 6 regulating the fuel flow may be controlled thermostatically. The pipe 3 may be heated at starting by burning gas or liquid fuel or by an electric resistance. A heat distributing cone 4 may be arranged above the burner.
