Abstract

548,753. Liquid fuel burners. TRIGGS, W. W. (Aktiebolaget Vavo I Likvidation). Jan. 19, 1942, No. 761. [Class 75 (i)] Liquid fuel is supplied by gravity from a reservoir 1 to an annular burner 12 through a chamber 4 fitted with a float-operated valve 6 and a pipe 9 fitted with a regulating valve 11, the air space of the chamber 4 communicating with the air space of the reservoir 1 by pipe 8. The air space of the reservoir 1 communicates with the atmosphere by a hole in the filling cap which can be easily sealed if it is required to transport the stove heated by the burner. The burner shown is !fitted over in a stove over a perforated plate 15 and carries two perforated cylinders 18, 19 which can be raised for the ignition of the starting wick 13 by means of a U-shaped member 25 fitted with a handle 29 adapted to engage a T-shaped opening in the stand 31. The valve 11 is fitted with a regulating knob 10. A filter 3 is provided above the valve 6.
