837,880. Air supply to burners. ASSOCIATED BRITISH COMBUSTION Ltd., and COOPER, R. B. April 19, 1956 [Jan. 19, 1955], No. 1637/55. Class 75(1) Air for cooling the burner sprayer (not shown) is delivered by a pipe 7 to an annular chamber 8 and passes through holes 11 into a frusto-conical chamber 9 and then through holes 12a in a pipe 12 surrounding and spaced from the burner sprayer. Combustion air is supplied through an air register 10. The cooling air may be supplied by a fan independently of the combustion air or it may be tapped from the combustion air supply.
