Abstract

499,122. Gas burners. DORTMUND HOERDER HUTTON-VEREIN AKT.-GES. May 23, 1938, No. 15289. Convention date, June 10, 1937. [Class 75 (i)] In a gas burner, more particularly for furnaces, air and gas, supplied respectively through inlets 4, 5 on the same side of the casing 1, are regulated simultaneously by valve pistons 6, 7, interconnected by a part 9 of reduced diameter and operated by a hand-wheel 8. The air passes from the inlet 4 through slots 10 in the part 9 into the hollow interior 11 containing a piston 13 operated by a hand wheel 12, for opening and closing the slots 10 to vary the air supply independently of the gas supply.
