Abstract

412,455. Spray carburetters. ALMARAZ, E. S., and ANTONIO, E. C. S., 16, Salvador Crespo, Chamartin, Spain. Sept. 19, 1933, No. 25921. Convention date, Oct. 5, 1932. [Class 7 (iii).] A passage 5, opening at one end into the induction pipe 1 between the throttle 6 and the engine cylinders, communicates engine suction directly to the top of a float chamber provided with a calibrated orifice 3 open to the atmosphere to prevent fuel waste during overrunning. The passage may include a spring-pressed valve 4 opening only when the suction exceeds a predetermined limit. Specification 402,592 is referred to.
