[Class 7 (ii).] An extra air admission device of the type comprising a flange-shaped fitting for insertion between the carburetter and induction pipe flanges, and having a central mixture passage surrounded by an annular air duct, is provided with a groove d in one face of the flange-shaped plate a, with ducts d<1>, d<2> for admitting air to the annular groove d and with a central opening b. The effective cross section of the air intake duct d<1> may be regulated by a screw e or by other means.
