Abstract

544,761. Ventilating crank cases. ZENITH CARBURETTER CO., Ltd. (Bendix Aviation Corporation). March 4, 1941, No. 2934. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Aug. 8, 1941.] [Class 7 (ii)] A vent pipe 26 leading from one end of the crank case is connected to the carburetter intake pipe 28 at 36 and 38, the former connection being controlled by a valve 40 subject to the suction in a Venturi 32, and the latter being restricted at 48, 50 and connected to the posterior side of the throttle 30. An ordinary breather is fitted at the other end of the crank case.
