Abstract

286,333. A.M.A.C., Ltd., and Comery, W. July 20, 1927. Spray carburettors. - A slow-running device having an outlet or outlets located on each side of the throttle valve in its closed position, is applied to a carburettor . in which a tubular throttle moves transversely across a straight - through passage. Below the main passage 20 is a slow-running mixture chamber 3 having outlets 10, 9 on the air inlet and engine sides respectively of the closing edge of the throttle valve 7. The chamber 3 has an air inlet passage 5 which is controlled by a screw 6 and receives fuel through a restricted passage 4.
