Spray carburettors. - In a two-stroke-cycle engine, the closed crank case E is provided with a suction-actuated air inlet valve 8 and is connected to the cylinder inlet port 2 by a passage 9 containing a fuel nozzle 11, the pressure in the crank case E being transmitted to the fuel' tank 16 and to the float chamber 13 by pipes 17, 17<1>. The fuel flow from the nozzle is controlled by a needle valve 18, and the mixture is controlled by a rotatable throttle 10.
