Abstract

234,222. Dubler, M., and Bruppacher, P. March 18, 1924. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Spray carburettors, - A bi-fuel carburettor comprises two or more nozzles 2, 3 receiving fuel from different float chambers, and projecting at an angle into the mixing-chamber 1 just above a compressed air nozzle 6. The supply of compressed air is controlled by a valve 13 interconnected with the throttle valve 10. An additional nozzle, similarly arranged to the nozzles 2, 3. may be provided for the admission of water. The fuel passages 21, 21<1> leading from the float chambers are each provided with a spring-loaded needle valve actuated from the driver's seat. The light fuel float chamber communicates by passages 30, 31 with a slowrunning nozzle 28. The induction pipe is exhaustjacketed. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 212,115.
