Abstract
290,843. A.M.A.C., Ltd., and Comery, W. June 9, 1927. Spray carburettors. - In carburettors in which the mixture outlet 4 from the slow-running device is located in the wall of the main mixture passage 2 at the edge of a butterfly throttle valve 7 in its closed position, the slow-running mixture is delivered to the passage 2 through a. metering passage 6 which opens into a transverse air passage 5 in the wing of the throttle valve. The passage 6 may be at right angles to the passage 5, as shown, or inclined thereto in the same direction as, or opposed to, the flow of the main mixture stream.
