Abstract
357,288. Spray carburetters. GRAHAM, M. T., Teighness, Killearn, Stirlingshire. July 2, 1930, No. 20031. [Class 7 (iii).] A floatless carburetter, comprising a casing A having a fuel reservoir D, an air inlet F and a jet J near the top of which is mounted suctionactuated fan K, has a fuel control cock I which is moved conjointly with the throttle valve L so that fuel flowing to the reservoir D through an internal or external passage G is cut off when the throttle is closed. The valve L may be of the butterfly or iris type. The atomizer K may comprise two or more group of oppositely rotating fans.
