Abstract

283,275. Clayton, J. Oct. 7, 1926. Spray carburettors.- The nozzle outlet c is controlled by a needle valve, the stem e of which serves as a support for suction-actuated' oppositely-handed propeller devices d which therefore rotate in opposite directions. The spindle e is screw-threaded at i and may be rotated by an arm h which may be connected to the throttle lever. Fuel from a float chamber is supplied to a casing r and is flung towards the nozzle outlet bv a drum o mounted on a spindle n and rotated by a propeller m in the air passage k provided with a pivoted valve l.
