Abstract

182,281. Poppe, P. A. May 24, 1921. Spray carburettors.- A carburettor of the type described in Specification 17502/06 has a tube H which projects extra air close to the aperture D of the nozzle A. The fuel supply may be controlled by rotation of the cap C on the head B, the two being provided with eccentric apertures; the air supply may be varied by a cam-shaped disc F carried by the throttle lever, the edge of the disc crossing the end of the tube H when it is revolved. The end of the tube H is preferably 1/16 in above the nozzle cap C.
