Abstract
152,320. Soc. du Carburateur Zenith. Oct. 4, 1919, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-In a carburettor having a separate slow-running nozzle, the richness of the mixture supplied by this nozzle is varied by adding secondary air thereto under the control of a needle valve. The nozzle 2 may be of the submerged jet type, air being admitted through a hole 3 to form the mixture; additional air enters past the valve 7 through the pipe 21, the maximum quantity being limited by the valve 15. The valve 15 may be dispensed with and the nozzle need not be submerged. The valve handle 11 may have an adjustable stop to limit its movement. Specification 100,367 is referred to.
