Abstract

150,331. Mauvillier, B. Aug. 21, 1919, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-Water is added to the combustible mixture produced by a carburettor by forming on the carburettor body a a neck b, the bore of which communicates with the mixing chamber and also, through a pipe c and nozzle e, with a water reservoir d. The nozzle e may be replaced by another of different bore to vary the conditions under which the water injection takes place.
