Abstract

164,323. Suter, J. H. June 7, 1920, [Convention date]. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-In engines in which the liquid fuel is forced into the cylinder by the pressure produced by partly burning some of it in a small chamber, the chamber 12 is water jacketed to prevent vaporization or gasification of the fuel and is enlarged at the end remote from the outlet 14 towards which the fuel from the nozzle 11 is directed.
