Abstract

153,255. Holley, G. M. Oct. 27, 1919, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Spray carburettors.-The main nozzle B is supplied from a constant level chamber D through a passage C which contains a restricted orifice, controlled by a valve E, and is in communication with a well F open to the atmosphere through an aperture K. The nozzle is provided with an inner atomizing tube J open at its lower end to the atmosphere. A nozzle G, for slow running, discharges into a passage H which delivers mixture into the induction pipe on the engine side of the throttle valve.
