Abstract

140,151. Grace, C. J. Jan. 15, 1919. Spray carburettors.-In a carburettor having a fuel nozzle c, d projecting into the induction pipe a between an air throttle valve b and the engine cylinder, the nozzle orifice is opposed by an adjustable baffle g which, through a rod h, lug i, and link-work, is connected to the valve b or its actuating-lever so that, as the throttle is closed, the baffle is brought nearer the orifice, and vice versa. The nozzle shown comprises grooves between the tubes c, d as described in Specification 128,627.
