Abstract
215,398. Monier, F. Nov. 3, 1922. Addition to 188,636. Spray carburettors.-The carburettor described in the parent Specification is modified by making the end of the tube, leading from the air space in the float chamber, adjustable in the induction pipe. A tube 11 is connected by a flexible tube 11<b> with the float chamber and slidably mounted so that the end 11<a> may be moved between the region of minimum depression P-P and that of maximum depression P<0>-P<0> at which the nozzles 8 are situated. The throttle may be either of the butterfly type as shown at 7 or a cone-shaped member slidably mounted on the tube 11. Curves are shown which enable the best relative positions of the thiottle valve and the tube 11 to be determined.
