Abstract

136,973. Davey, B. A., and Hobson, Ltd., H. M. March 13, 1919. Spray carburettors.-A rich mixture of fuel and air is supplied to an annular space E in the wall of the air passage whence it is delivered to the air passage J through a slit H formed between the fixed wall and the upper edge of an adjustable intake portion G. Fuel from the float chamber B is fed to a well A, where it is aerated by air entering at C, the rich mixture passing to the space E. The width of the slit H may be adjusted by actuating the part G from a distance or in conjunction with the throttle valve. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 133,677.
