Abstract
480,481. Spray carburetters. METROVERGASER AKT.-GES. Feb. 4, 1937, No. 3353. Convention date, Feb. 5, 1936. [Class 7 (iii)] Fuel is supplied through a jet in a perforated tube to a well d which is in communication through a slit f, with a chamber g open to the atmosphere at h and with a main nozzle v. Fuel is also supplied through a second jet into a perforated tube r surrounded by a sleeve m, open to the atmosphere at n, to a chamber k open to the atmosphere at y, and this mixture is supplied during idling to a passage adjacent the throttle a. At starting, a rotary valve p is operated to supply the mixture from the chamber k to a port q discharging above the throttle a.
