Abstract

330,765. Hofmann, H. Dec. 27, 1928, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-In a floabless carburettor, the fuel supply is controlled by a suction-actuated valve 12 and a regulating device 7 mounted directly on the spindle of the mixture throttle valve 8. The device 7 comprises a conical plug having tapering peripheral grooves which are connected by passages 23, 6, 24 and which connect passages 5, 9. The fuel nozzle comprises a transverse hole 31 in a rod 10 which is pressed by a screw 36 to hold a choke tube 35 in position.
