Abstract
255,682. Dodson, E. Sept. 24, 1925. Spray carburettors.- The whole of the air supply is received through a choke tube 2 below a disc throttlevalve 3 which has a diametral bore 5, one end 8 of which registers, in the closed and slightly open positions of the throttle, with a fuel or mixture supply conduit 6. The slow-running mixture issues from the bore 5 through an approximately centrally disposed aperture 9 into the main conduit. To enable a large slow-running fuel feed device to be used without producing a too rich mixture, air inlets 10, 11 may be provided.
