244,616. A.M.A.C., Ltd., and Guy, W. L. March 5, 1925. Sproy carburettors. -The fuel nozzle 6 is situated in a Venturi tube 5 opening into the main air passage 2 either at the throat of a choke tube therein or at a part adjustably restricted by a throttle valve 3, uncontrolled air being admitted to the bottom of the Venturi tube 5 through an inlet 7 and a passage 4, and air controlled by a manually actuated piston 11 being admitted thereto through one or more holes 8, the lower edges of which are level with the nozzle outlet,
