Abstract
465,474. Spray carburetters. FARMER, G. H. Nov. 6, 1935, No. 30692. [Class 7 (iii)] Fuel is supplied through a jet and a passage D<20> into an emulsifying chamber into which air, drawn from the space between the walls of the mixing chamber and a choke tube, is admitted through a tube G<0>, and through holes F<10>, F<20> in a tube D‹. At large throttle openings all the air issues from the end of the tube G<0> but at smaller throttle openings some issues through small holes H‹ to reduce the suction on the jet. The emulsified fuel passes through a tube B<10> and is discharged into the choke tube.
