Abstract

Spray carburettors.-The fuel supply to the nozzle is controlled by a restricted orifice F in a removable plug E contained in a chamber A placed in the fuel line B, B' between the float chamber or reservoir and the nozzle, the chamber having a sump C, which may be fitted with a removable plug, for the reception of grit and the like. The orifice F may be axial, horizontal, or at an angle, and the plug E is a close fit in the chamber in the region of the fuel-ducts B, B<1>.
