Spray carburettors -Either light fuel from the compartment 5 of the fuel tank, or a mixture of light and heavy fuel from the compartment 4, according to the position of the three-way cock 6, is supplied to the carburetting apparatus 7, the jet of which is adjustable and may be interconnected with the cock 6 to compensate automatically for the change of fuel. The light fuel may be petrol and it may be used with an equal quantity of naphtha or other raw oil.. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-Plates 2 for vaporizing the fuel are provided in the combustion space.
