513,356. Charge-mixing devices. MANSELL, W. C. G. Jan. 10, 1939, No. 741., [Class 7 (ii)] A charge-mixing device, for connection between - carburetter and an induction pipe by means of a flange 10, comprises a mixing cylinder 12 projecting centrally from the flange, a suction-operated fan 15 in the mixing cylinder and number of uncontrolled additional airinlet passages 17 in the flange extending from the outer edge into the mixing cylinder. A gauze or finely perforated disc 16 may be used to assist the atomisation of the fuel.
